A walk through the stars

Sadly due to the current SARS-Cov-2 pandemic we have had to postpone our next talk.

Join us in an evening of star spotting and guide to the constellations.

Weather permitting, we will spend an enjoyable hour talking about the stars.  We will take a light hearted, sometimes humourous look at the constellations and their mythology.

The evening will be led by Neil Taylor, a fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society and member of the European Astronomical Society, and local (Farnhill) astrophysics author. You will:-

  • Recognise and be able to find some of the better known constellations
  • Discover some easy tips on how to navigate your way through the star
  • Learn about the nature of the stars
  • Enjoy tales of the mythology of the constellations
